Join us for friendships, learning, sharing, and fun. Becoming a member will provide you with an opportunity to meet up in person or meet online, learn new skills and discover new activities that you will enjoy, all for £25 per year.
With hundreds of local groups across Scotland, there is a group for every woman. We embrace equality, diversity and inclusion.

Option 1. SWI Membership
There are two ways to pay your national membership fee of £25 per year:
- You can pay £25 by calling 0131 225 1724 during office hours, or email your contact details to hello@theswi.org.uk any time to request a call back. Once you're signed up you will receive your membership pack.
- You can pay £25 directly to your local Institute or Federation and they will provide SWI's central office with your details to receive your membership pack.
Please note: additional small fees may be payable at the Institute and Federation level to cover expenses. These are variable across Scotland, so please ask in advance.
Option 2. SWI Independent Membership
If you would prefer to be an independent member, which involves not being affiliated with an Institute and Federation and having limited access to membership benefits. The annual fee is also £25, however, you will not have the ability to vote or stand for an elected position.
Option 3. SWI Junior Membership (under 16s)
The national junior membership fee is £10 for those under 16s. You can apply by simply filling in this form and emailing it to membership@theswi.org.uk once complete. OR you can engage directly with your local Institute or Federation and apply for membership through them. An additional small fee may be payable at meetings to cover venue costs etc.
